The new

Hearthstone.
Hearthstone Restaurant has occupied the historic 1883 Kaiser House at 130 S Ridge Street in Breckenridge, Colorado since 1989. The kitchen, led by Executive Chef Jordan Kuhry, serves Rocky Mountain fine dining built on naturally raised game, Colorado produce, and sustainable seafood. General Manager Cody Dollar and Bar Manager Matthew Pierce run the front of house. The restaurant carries the tagline “A Historic Heart, A Mountain Soul” and has earned the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for 25 consecutive years.
Konza Digital rebuilt our website from the ground up, and the difference shows. The new site reflects who we are, performs the way a modern restaurant site should, and is finally easy for guests and search engines alike.
What the old site was costing the restaurant.
A site competing on brand recall alone, not on the high-intent searches travelers and locals actually run.
When Konza Digital began the engagement, the old hearthstonebreck.com was limiting the restaurant’s reach in Google search. Mobile performance lagged behind what a modern restaurant site should deliver, and Core Web Vitals scores reflected an aging codebase. Local-SEO signal was thin: the site lacked structured restaurant schema, menu content was not surfaced as crawlable pages, and the reservation flow was buried rather than featured.
Content depth around the menu, the Kaiser House story, the wine program, and private dining was limited. The foundation needed a full rebuild before any acquisition work could compound.
The approach.
Three chapters / one launchRebuild the structure.
Konza rebuilt the site from the ground up with a mobile-first design, a new information architecture, and Restaurant plus LocalBusiness schema applied at the page level. Core Web Vitals were tuned to modern standards. The menu was structured as crawlable content rather than a static PDF, and the Tock reservation call to action was made prominent on every page so guests can book in one tap from anywhere on the site.
Build out the signals.
The Google Business Profile was claimed and fully optimized, with NAP consistency reconciled across local citations. A review acquisition flow was put in place to keep review velocity steady. Restaurant schema was deployed on every page so Google can read the menu, the hours, the location, and the reservation link directly from the markup. Breckenridge-specific landing-page work supports local-pack visibility for the queries travelers run from inside the Ten Mile Range area.
Compound the local signal.
With the new site live, the focus turned to compounding the local-search signal. The Google Business Profile was reclaimed and optimized with current hours, photos, and menu highlights. A review acquisition flow encourages diners to leave Google reviews after a meal. Seasonal menu content rotates with Breckenridge’s tourism calendar. Local link earning targets Breckenridge tourism sites, lodging partners, and the Summit County dining scene.
Early signals.
Local search grid scans / May 14, 2026
The new site already owns brand search. Category search is next.
Brand queries surface Hearthstone in position one across the entire grid. Category queries for fine dining put the restaurant in the top three at every grid point. The generic “best restaurants” search is the next horizon, sitting behind sixteen competitors today. Closing that gap is the work ahead.
Timeline.
Four months / kickoff to launch to compoundingSite architecture and brand discovery.
Engagement begins. Information architecture is mapped against the queries Breckenridge travelers and locals actually run. Brand voice and visual direction are aligned with the Kaiser House heritage.
Site assembly.
The new site is built mobile-first with Restaurant plus LocalBusiness schema at the page level, a crawlable menu, and the Tock reservation flow surfaced on every page.
Site cutover.
The new hearthstonebreck.com goes live, replacing the legacy site with the rebuilt information architecture, mobile-first design, and integrated reservation flow.
Post-launch optimization.
Google Business Profile reclaimed and optimized, citation consistency tightened, review velocity flow activated, and a seasonal content refresh cycle begins ahead of the summer Breckenridge season.
